Paul Eating Durian in Cambodia
About Me

Yep, that's me...eating. I'm at a roadside market in Cambodia with my family tasting durian for the first time. I'm not sure I'll have durian again.

I have a tremendous appreciation for the outdoors and try to see the beauty in all things the natural world affords me. I am a landscape, nature, and wildlife photographer from the New York suburbs and have been enjoying photography for the last 10 years. I enjoy travel no matter how close or how far and am fortunate enough to be able to do that a couple of times a year. I appreciate the culture, architecture, and food of the people living in each travel destination.

More recently, I've been focusing on wildlife photography. Recent trips to a private game reserve in the Sabi Sands area of South Africa and Churchill Manitoba, CA really ignited my focus on wildlife.

I also design photography-based websites. I designed this site as well as the site for the camera club to which I belong.

I just started my first ever blog. Check it out and give a like or leave a comment.

My love for the natural world, culture, and landscapes allows me to deeply connect with the subjects I photograph. I often try to bring a different view to my images by composing my images using an atypical perspective.

I do hope all of this come through in my photographs.
